About the Maserati Quattroporte VI
The sixth-generation Quattroporte (M156) marked a significant shift for Maserati, growing in size to better compete with the long-wheelbase German elite while introducing turbocharged power. The S Q4 trim features a 3.0-litre V6 engine designed and assembled by Ferrari in Maranello, paired with an intelligent all-wheel-drive system that maintains a rear-biased feel. For 2017, the model received a mid-cycle refresh including a revised 'shark-nose' grille with active aero shutters and a much-improved 8.4-inch infotainment system. While it lacks the ultimate refinement of an S-Class, it offers a more emotive driving experience and a distinctive exhaust note that remains a class benchmark.
