About the Maserati GranTurismo
Introduced at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, the GranTurismo S elevated Maserati's grand tourer with a larger 4.7-litre V8 and a transaxle layout for improved weight distribution. It features the 'MC-Shift' automated manual gearbox, capable of 100ms shifts, and a distinctive valved exhaust that provides one of the most celebrated engine notes of the 21st century. While the interior offers genuine four-seat luxury, the S trim is defined by its sharper handling and Brembo dual-cast brakes. It remains a collector favourite for its timeless Pininfarina silhouette and mechanical soul.
