About the Lancia Prisma
The Lancia Prisma was introduced in 1982 as the three-box saloon counterpart to the Giugiaro-designed Delta hatchback. While it lacked the rally-bred image of its sibling, the Prisma was praised for its refined driving dynamics, upscale interior, and class-leading aerodynamics. The 1.6 i.e. variant, introduced with the 1986 facelift, featured a fuel-injected version of the celebrated Lampredi twin-cam engine, offering a significant performance boost over the carburetted models. Today, it is a rare sight on UK roads, valued by collectors for its understated Italian elegance and mechanical kinship with the early Delta GT.
