About the Lancia Astura

Introduced at the 1931 Paris Motor Show, the Lancia Astura was the sophisticated successor to the revolutionary Lambda. It featured a signature narrow-angle V8 engine, initially displacing 2.6 litres, which allowed for a compact block and a single cylinder head. Unlike the monocoque Lambda, the Astura used a robust steel ladder frame to better accommodate the bespoke creations of Italy's premier coachbuilders like Pinin Farina and Castagna. It is celebrated for its exceptional refinement, aided by innovative rubber engine mounts that virtually eliminated vibration, making it a favourite of the era's political and cultural elite.

Lancia Astura rarity in CarSpot

The Lancia Astura is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
