About the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4
The original Aventador LP 700-4 replaced the Murciélago and entered production in 2011. It uses a carbon-fibre monocoque, a new naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 and a single-clutch ISR paddle-shift gearbox. All-wheel drive helps deploy its power, though the gearchanges remain deliberately dramatic rather than seamless. The LP 700-4 gave way to the Aventador S, while the wider Aventador family continued for several more years.
