About the Ferrari F12berlinetta
Replacing the 599 GTB, the F12berlinetta debuted as Ferrari's most powerful road-legal car, featuring a high-revving 6.3-litre V12 derived from the Enzo and FF. Its design, a collaboration between Pininfarina and the Ferrari Styling Centre, introduced the 'Aero Bridge' to channel air over the flanks for increased downforce without a large wing. The chassis uses 12 different aluminium alloys to increase rigidity while reducing weight, resulting in a car that is both smaller and more agile than its predecessor. It remains a high-water mark for naturally aspirated front-engined Ferraris, blending civilised touring manners with a 1:23.0 lap time at Fiorano.
