About the Hyundai H100 AU
The third-generation Hyundai H100, also known as the Porter in its home market, was a light commercial vehicle based on the Mitsubishi Delica/L300 platform. Renowned for its rugged simplicity and high payload capacity relative to its size, it became a staple for small businesses across Asia, Europe, and Africa. The 2.5-litre naturally aspirated diesel engine (D4BA) prioritised longevity and ease of maintenance over outright performance. While the forward-control cab design offered excellent visibility and a tight turning circle, the engine's placement under the front seats resulted in high cabin noise and heat. Today, surviving examples are valued as reliable, no-nonsense utility vehicles rather than collectors' items.
