About the Honda Domani MA
Introduced in November 1992, the Honda Domani (MA) was designed as a more premium alternative to the Civic Ferio, replacing the Concerto in the Japanese market. It shared its chassis and core engineering with the EG-generation Civic but featured a more formal, rounded exterior that later formed the basis for the European Honda Civic and the Rover 400/45 series. The 1.6-litre Vi trim utilised the ZC-series SOHC engine, offering a balance of Honda's signature high-revving reliability and improved interior refinement. While common in East Asia, it remains a rare sight in Western markets, often only appearing as a grey import.
