About the Ginetta Akula
Launched to celebrate 20 years of Lawrence Tomlinson's ownership of Ginetta, the production Akula is a visceral, motorsport-derived supercar. It features a bespoke 6.4-litre naturally aspirated V8 mounted in a front-mid configuration, providing a perfect 50:50 weight distribution. The car's aggressive carbon-fibre bodywork, including a prominent dorsal fin and LMP1-style rear wing, generates significant downforce. With a kerb weight of just 1,190kg and a choice of a six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT, it offers a raw, analogue driving experience rarely found in modern supercars.
