About the Aston Martin Vantage GT12
The Vantage GT12 is the ultimate track-focused evolution of the VH-generation Vantage, originally launched as the GT3 before a naming dispute with Porsche. It features a significantly lightened chassis, shedding 100kg through the extensive use of carbon fibre, a titanium exhaust, and magnesium components. The 5.9-litre V12 is tuned to 600PS, though the aggressive aerodynamics—including a prominent fixed rear wing—reduce the top speed compared to the V12 S in exchange for superior downforce. It remains one of the most visceral and sought-after modern Astons, prized for its raw soundtrack and motorsport-derived handling.
