About the Acura NSX Type S NC1
The 2022 Acura NSX Type S serves as the high-performance swan song for the second-generation (NC1) NSX. It features a more aggressive aerodynamic package with a GT3-inspired rear diffuser and a sharper nose, alongside upgraded turbochargers shared with the NSX GT3 Evo race car. The hybrid powertrain, consisting of a mid-mounted V6 and three electric motors, was retuned to produce 600 hp, making it the most powerful production Acura at its launch. With only 350 units produced globally, it is a highly sought-after collector's piece that balances track-focused upgrades with the model's signature daily usability.
