About the Fiat Ulysse 179

The second-generation Fiat Ulysse (Type 179) was the result of the 'Eurovan' joint venture between Fiat and PSA Peugeot Citroën, sharing its platform with the Citroën C8, Peugeot 807, and Lancia Phedra. The 2008 facelift introduced the refined 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine, providing a balance of efficiency and torque suitable for a large family vehicle. It is distinguished by its practical sliding rear doors and a highly modular interior that can accommodate up to eight passengers. While it lacked the brand prestige of its Lancia sibling, the Ulysse was valued for its straightforward utility and competitive pricing in the European MPV market.
