About the Fiat 1500

Introduced at the 1935 Milan Motor Show, the Fiat 1500 (often called the 1500 6C) was a landmark in automotive design. Developed in a wind tunnel by Dante Giacosa, its streamlined body achieved remarkable aerodynamic efficiency for a pre-war touring car, featuring a raked radiator and integrated headlights. It was technically advanced for its era, debuting Fiat's first independent front suspension and a sophisticated overhead-valve six-cylinder engine. The car's lightweight chassis and balanced handling made it a frequent sight in endurance races like the Mille Miglia.
