About the Bristol Fighter
The Bristol Fighter is one of the most enigmatic supercars of the 21st century, combining a bespoke aluminium and carbon-composite body with a modified 8.0-litre Chrysler V10. Designed by former Brabham F1 engineer Max Boxstrom, its aerodynamic shape achieved a remarkably low drag coefficient of 0.28. Despite its brutal American power, the Fighter was engineered for grand touring, featuring a surprisingly spacious cabin and gullwing doors for ease of access. With only a handful ever completed before Bristol Cars entered administration, it remains a rare and highly coveted piece of British automotive history.

Bristol Fighter rarity in CarSpot
The Bristol Fighter is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works
Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
Bristol Fighter fun facts
- The Fighter's gullwing doors were designed so that the car could be parked in a standard garage while still allowing the driver to exit comfortably.
- Bristol claimed the car was aerodynamically stable enough to reach 270 mph, though the production versions were electronically limited to 210 mph.
- The instrument panel features a 'flight hours' meter, a nod to Bristol's origins as the Bristol Aeroplane Company.
