About the BMW Z8
Designed by Henrik Fisker as a tribute to the iconic 507, the BMW Z8 is a hand-finished masterpiece featuring an all-aluminium spaceframe and body. It shares the high-revving S62 V8 engine and six-speed manual gearbox with the E39 M5, delivering a visceral driving experience that famously outperformed the Ferrari 360 Modena in contemporary tests. The interior is a study in retro-minimalism, featuring a body-coloured dashboard and centrally mounted gauges to keep the driver's view of the road unobstructed. With only 5,703 units produced, it has transitioned from a halo performance car into a blue-chip collector staple.
