About the BMW M4 CSL G82
Released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of BMW M, the G82 M4 CSL (Competition, Sport, Lightweight) is a track-focused evolution of the standard M4. It features a 40hp power increase and a significant 100kg weight reduction achieved through a rear-seat delete, carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) body panels, and titanium exhaust. The chassis is significantly stiffened with unique strut braces and revised damping to handle its aggressive track-oriented nature. It famously recorded a 7:18.137 lap time at the Nürburgring, making it the quickest series-production BMW at the time of its launch.
