About the BMW M3 GT E36

The BMW M3 GT was built as a limited-run homologation special to allow the E36 to compete in the FIA GT and IMSA GT series. Finished exclusively in British Racing Green, it features a revised S50B30 engine with a re-profiled camshaft and the short intake manifold later used in the 3.2-litre Evolution. Aerodynamic upgrades include a distinctive double-deck rear spoiler and an adjustable front splitter, while aluminium doors help reduce weight. It is widely considered the most collectable E36 M3 due to its rarity and sharper, more focused driving dynamics compared to the standard model.
