About the Audi e-tron
The Audi e-tron 55 quattro marked the brand's definitive entry into the premium electric SUV market, prioritising a familiar luxury experience over radical EV styling. Built on a modified version of the MLB Evo platform, it features a 95 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup that provides a 'boost' mode for peak performance. While its weight is significant, the e-tron is praised for its exceptional refinement, near-silent cabin, and sophisticated air suspension. It was later rebranded as the Q8 e-tron in 2023 to align with Audi's updated naming convention.
