About the Mercedes-Benz EQC
Launched as the first dedicated battery-electric vehicle under the Mercedes-EQ sub-brand, the EQC 400 4MATIC is a luxury crossover based on a modified GLC platform. It features a dual-motor setup providing 408 PS and a substantial 760 Nm of torque, ensuring effortless acceleration despite its significant 2.5-tonne kerb weight. The AMG Line trim adds a more aggressive 'black panel' grille and 20-inch multi-spoke wheels, enhancing its visual presence. While it prioritises refinement and comfort over sporty handling, it remains a significant milestone in the brand's transition to electrification.
