About the Aston Martin Vanquish
The V12 Vanquish was the final model to be hand-assembled at Aston Martin's historic Newport Pagnell facility, representing a bridge between traditional craftsmanship and modern engineering. Designed by Ian Callum, it featured a pioneering bonded aluminium and carbon-fibre chassis that provided exceptional rigidity for its era. Its 5.9-litre V12 engine, developed with Cosworth, delivered a soulful soundtrack and effortless grand touring performance. While the early electro-hydraulic paddle-shift transmission was often criticised for its low-speed refinement, the car remains a highly coveted modern classic, famously immortalised as James Bond's transport in 'Die Another Day'.
