About the Alpine A110 S II
The A110 S arrived in 2019 as the more serious, track-oriented sibling to the standard A110. It features a 40hp power increase and a significantly stiffer chassis, with springs uprated by 50% and anti-roll bars by 100%. While it loses some of the base car's playful body roll, it gains immense precision and high-speed stability, further enhanced by a 4mm lower ride height and wider Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. It remains one of the few modern sports cars to prioritise low mass over raw power, weighing barely 1,100kg.
