About the KTM X-Bow
The KTM X-Bow R represents a significant evolution of the original 2008 model, featuring a more powerful 300 hp Audi-sourced engine and a revised chassis. Built around a Dallara-designed carbon-fibre monocoque, it lacks a roof, doors, and a windscreen, prioritising a raw, motorcycle-like connection to the road. The 'R' variant lowered the engine mounting point to improve the centre of gravity and revised the suspension geometry for even sharper track performance. It remains a benchmark for lightweight track-day specials, offering lateral acceleration of up to 1.5g on road tyres.
