About the Morgan Plus Four CX
The CX-Generation Plus Four represents the most significant engineering shift in Morgan's history, replacing the venerable steel ladder chassis with a bonded aluminium platform. While it retains the hand-formed ash frame and traditional aesthetic, only 3% of its components are shared with the outgoing Plus 4. Power comes from a BMW-sourced B48 engine, providing a level of performance and refinement previously unknown to the model. The manual variant offers a more traditional connection to the car, though it produces slightly less torque than the automatic version.
