About the Toyota Wish AE20

The second-generation Toyota Wish (AE20) refined the compact MPV formula that made its predecessor a best-seller in Japan and Southeast Asia. Built on the Toyota MC platform shared with the Corolla, it offers car-like handling and a low step-in height, making it a popular choice for urban families. The 2012 facelift introduced LED lighting and a revised front grille, while the 1.8-litre Valvematic engine provided a balance of efficiency and sufficient power for seven occupants. Though never officially sold in the UK or US, it has become a staple of the grey import market due to its legendary reliability and flexible seating configurations.
