About the Toyota Innova AN140
The second-generation Toyota Innova, known as the Innova Crysta in some markets, debuted in late 2015 built on the IMV platform shared with the Hilux and Fortuner. Unlike most modern MPVs that use unibody construction, the AN140 retains a rugged ladder-frame chassis, making it exceptionally durable for heavy loads and poor road conditions. The 2.0-litre 1TR-FE petrol engine prioritises reliability and ease of maintenance over outright performance. It is widely regarded as a 'workhorse' luxury vehicle in Southeast Asia and India, valued for its longevity and high resale value.
