About the Toyota Aristo JZS161

The second-generation Toyota Aristo JZS161 is the ultimate JDM executive sleeper, famously sharing its 2JZ-GTE engine with the A80 Supra. While the export Lexus GS300 was limited to naturally aspirated power, the Japanese-market V300 trim featured twin-turbochargers and VVT-i, officially producing 280 PS under the 'gentleman's agreement' but often delivering more. It was one of the most advanced sedans of its era, introducing Toyota's Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and featuring a 'Tiptronic' style automatic with steering wheel buttons. Collectors prize the V300 for its immense tuning potential and its status as the last production car to house the legendary 2JZ-GTE engine.
