About the Suzuki Splash

The Suzuki Splash was developed in partnership with Opel to replace the Wagon R+, offering a more modern 'mini-MPV' approach to the city car segment. Sharing its platform with a shortened version of the Suzuki Swift, it provides a surprisingly engaging driving experience for its class, aided by a tall seating position that offers excellent all-round visibility. The 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine is the pick of the range, providing enough pep for motorway journeys while remaining economical. In the UK, it was also sold as the Vauxhall Agila, but the Suzuki version often commanded a slight premium for its perceived reliability and brand heritage.
