About the Suzuki Cappuccino EA11R
The Suzuki Cappuccino is a definitive member of the 'ABC' trio of 1990s Japanese kei sports cars, alongside the Autozam AZ-1 and Honda Beat. Unlike its mid-engined rivals, the EA11R-generation Cappuccino uses a front-mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive layout to achieve a perfect 50:50 weight distribution. Its turbocharged F6A three-cylinder engine is famously eager, while the clever three-piece aluminium roof allows it to transform from a closed coupé to a T-top, targa, or full convertible. Though built to strict Japanese dimensions, its sophisticated double-wishbone suspension and disc brakes provide a genuine sports car experience in a miniature package.
