About the Skoda Scala
Launched in 2019 to replace the Rapid, the Skoda Scala is built on the Volkswagen Group's MQB-A0 platform, shared with the Polo but stretched to offer class-leading rear legroom and boot capacity. The 1.0 TSI SE L trim represents a sweet spot in the range, offering a punchy three-cylinder engine paired with premium features like a digital cockpit and microsuede upholstery. It was designed to bridge the gap between the Fabia and Octavia, focusing on ergonomic simplicity and 'Simply Clever' practical touches. While it prioritises comfort and utility over driver engagement, its refined EA211 evo engine makes it a highly efficient daily driver.
