About the SEAT Tarraco
Launched in 2018 as SEAT's flagship SUV, the Tarraco shares its MQB-A2 underpinnings with the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace and Skoda Kodiaq. The FR trim, introduced later in the production cycle, adds a sportier aesthetic with unique bumpers, larger alloy wheels, and a firmer suspension setup to match SEAT's more youthful brand positioning. While the 1.5 TSI engine is the entry-level petrol option, it features Active Cylinder Technology (ACT) to improve efficiency by deactivating two cylinders under light loads. Production ended in 2024 as the Volkswagen Group shifted focus toward the Cupra brand and its Terramar successor.
