About the Jaecoo 7
The Jaecoo 7 is the debut model from Chery's export-focused premium brand, designed to bridge the gap between urban luxury and rugged capability. Launched in the UK in early 2025, the 1.6 T-GDi Luxury trim features an all-wheel-drive system with multiple terrain modes and a distinctive boxy aesthetic reminiscent of classic off-roaders. The interior is a significant step up for the parent company, dominated by a 14.8-inch portrait touchscreen and high-quality soft-touch materials. While its 1.6-litre engine provides adequate power, the car is primarily noted for its high level of standard equipment, including a 540-degree camera system and a comprehensive suite of driver aids.
