About the Mercedes-Benz 770

Introduced at the 1930 Paris Motor Show, the W07-generation 770 was the largest and most expensive Mercedes-Benz of its era. Known as the 'Großer Mercedes', it was engineered without regard for cost, featuring a massive 7.7-litre straight-eight engine and a semi-automatic vacuum-shifted overdrive. While a naturally aspirated version was available, the vast majority of the 117 units produced were equipped with a Roots-type supercharger that engaged at full throttle. Its immense presence and hand-built quality made it the preferred choice for heads of state and royalty, including Emperor Hirohito and King Faisal I.

Mercedes-Benz 770 rarity in CarSpot

The Mercedes-Benz 770 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.

Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works

Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
