About the Renault Trafic Mk2

The second-generation Renault Trafic was a collaborative project between Renault, General Motors, and Nissan, resulting in a highly successful platform also sold as the Vauxhall Vivaro and Nissan Primastar. It was notable for its distinctive 'jumbo' roof design over the cab, which improved headroom and ease of entry for drivers. The 1.9 dCi engine was the mainstay of the early Mk2 range, offering a balance of fuel efficiency and sufficient torque for urban deliveries. Its car-like driving position and dashboard-mounted gear lever set new standards for ergonomics in the light commercial vehicle sector.
