About the Renault Koleos HC
The second-generation Renault Koleos (HC) was launched in 2016 as the brand's flagship SUV, moving upmarket from its predecessor to compete in the D-segment. Built on the CMF-CD platform shared with the Nissan X-Trail, it focuses on passenger comfort and interior space rather than off-road ruggedness. The 2.0 dCi variant features an 'All Mode 4x4-i' system and a X-Tronic CVT designed to mimic traditional gear shifts. While praised for its stylish exterior and generous legroom, it was eventually withdrawn from the UK market in 2020 due to slow sales in a crowded segment.
