About the Reliant Regal
The Reliant Regal 3/25 was a significant evolution of the three-wheeled concept, introducing a glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) unit construction body and a lightweight overhead-valve aluminium engine. Designed to be driven on a motorcycle licence in the UK, it offered affordable weather protection and seating for four. The 3/25 designation refers to its three wheels and 25 brake horsepower. While often the subject of British comedy, the Regal was a genuine commercial success and remains a cult classic for its unique engineering and charm.
