About the Reliant Fox
The Reliant Fox was a compact four-wheeled utility vehicle developed from the Kitten chassis, originally designed for the Greek market before being adapted for British production. Featuring a rust-proof glass-fibre body and a galvanised steel chassis, it was marketed as a versatile alternative to the Mini Moke, available in pick-up, estate, and van configurations. Its 848cc all-aluminium engine provided modest power but exceptional fuel economy, while its 7.6-metre turning circle made it remarkably nimble in urban environments. Despite its practicality, it remained a niche product with low production numbers, now enjoying a cult following among microcar and Reliant enthusiasts.

- Reliant spent approximately £500,000 re-engineering the original Greek MEBEA design to meet British market standards.
