About the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT J1

Launched as the new flagship of the J1-generation facelift, the Taycan Turbo GT represents Porsche's ultimate expression of electric performance. It features a significantly upgraded rear motor with a 900-ampere pulse inverter using silicon carbide, allowing for a peak overboost output of up to 1,108 PS (1,092 hp) for two seconds. The chassis is enhanced by the standard Porsche Active Ride suspension, specifically tuned for the GT's increased dynamics and reduced weight. Despite its four-door saloon body, its track-focused engineering allowed it to set a series-production electric lap record of 7:07.55 at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
