About the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 C7
The C7 ZR1 represents the absolute performance pinnacle of the front-engine Corvette layout before the platform transitioned to a mid-engine design. It features the LT5 engine, equipped with a 2.6-litre Eaton supercharger that required a unique 'shaker' hood cutout to accommodate its height. Available with the ZTK Track Performance Package, it produces 430kg of downforce via a massive adjustable high wing bolted directly to the chassis. It remains one of the most aggressive and powerful American production cars ever built, offering genuine supercar-slaying track capability.

Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 C7 fun facts
- The ZR1's top speed was verified at 212 mph, making it the fastest production Corvette in history at the time of its release.
- Because the supercharger was so tall, Chevrolet had to design a special carbon-fibre 'halo' hood with a central opening, meaning the engine cover is visible from the outside.
- Of the 2,953 units produced, approximately 70% were equipped with the 8-speed automatic transmission, making the 7-speed manual versions highly sought after by collectors.
