About the Porsche 968 Club Sport

The 968 Club Sport was Porsche's answer to the commercial struggle of the standard 968, offering a focused, lightweight alternative for driving purists. By removing the rear seats, sound deadening, and luxury electrics, Porsche shed approximately 100kg and lowered the price, creating one of the best-handling cars of the 1990s. It features the final development of the 3.0-litre four-cylinder engine, which was the largest of its kind in production at the time, enhanced by VarioCam technology. Never officially sold in the US, it has become a highly coveted import and a benchmark for front-engine balance.
