About the Peugeot 207
The Peugeot 207 was launched in 2006 as a larger, more premium successor to the immensely popular 206. The 1.4 SE trim utilised the 'Prince' engine developed in collaboration with BMW, featuring variable valve timing for improved efficiency and mid-range response. While heavier than its predecessor, the 207 offered significantly better crash safety, earning a five-star Euro NCAP rating, and a much-improved interior quality. It remains a common sight on European roads, valued for its compliant ride and practical dimensions.
