About the Peugeot 206 RC
The 206 RC (badged as the GTI 180 in the UK) was Peugeot's late-entry answer to the Renaultsport Clio 172. It features a naturally aspirated EW10J4S engine with variable valve timing and a cylinder head developed by Lotus. Visually distinguished by 17-inch 'Atlantis' wheels, a twin-exit exhaust, and a larger rear spoiler, it also received a unique interior with heavily bolstered Alcantara bucket seats. While criticized for its long-throw gearbox, it is praised for its high-speed stability and characterful, high-revving engine.
