About the Ford Transit Custom Mk1
The Mk1 Ford Transit Custom redefined the mid-sized van segment upon its 2012 launch, bridging the gap between the smaller Connect and the full-size Transit. Developed at Ford's Dunton Technical Centre in the UK, it was the first one-tonne van to achieve a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating. The 2019 model features the refined 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine, which replaced the older 2.2-litre units to meet Euro 6 emissions standards. The Limited trim is a collector and fleet favourite, offering 'car-like' amenities such as heated seats, the SYNC 3 infotainment system, and air conditioning as standard.
