About the Mitsubishi Minicab DS16T

The DS16T generation Mitsubishi Minicab is a rebadged Suzuki Carry, following an OEM agreement established in 2014. As a Kei truck, it is designed to meet strict Japanese dimensions and engine displacement regulations, making it exceptionally agile in urban environments and narrow rural tracks. This 2015 model features a mid-mounted R06A engine and a selectable four-wheel-drive system, often including a low-range transfer case for off-road capability. It is highly prized by collectors and enthusiasts outside Japan for its reliability, ease of maintenance, and surprising cargo capacity relative to its footprint.
