About the Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed
The Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed is the inaugural model of the highly exclusive Mythos series, designed as a radical speedster based on the R232 SL. It features a completely open cockpit with no roof or windscreen, replaced by a Formula 1-inspired HALO safety system for occupant protection. The design pays homage to legendary Silver Arrows, specifically the 300 SLR and the Targa Florio-winning 2-litre race car, incorporating flying buttresses and a 'shark-nose' front end. Mechanically, it shares the SL 63's 4.0-litre biturbo V8 and 4MATIC+ system, but offers a visceral, unfiltered driving experience that requires the use of bespoke aerodynamically optimised helmets.

Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed rarity in CarSpot
The Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works
Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed fun facts
