About the Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro C190
The Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro is a limited-edition, circuit-focused evolution of the C190 generation, bridging the gap between the standard GT R and the GT3 racing cars. While it shares the 577 hp M178 V8 with the standard R, the Pro introduces significant chassis upgrades including manually adjustable coilover suspension, spherical bearings for the rear wishbones, and an adjustable carbon fibre front anti-roll bar. Aerodynamics are heavily revised with a larger front splitter, carbon flics, and fender louvres that increase downforce at the front axle. It famously lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:04.632, nearly six seconds faster than the standard GT R.
