About the Ferrari 430 Scuderia
Unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, the 430 Scuderia is a lightened and more powerful successor to the 360 Challenge Stradale. It features the F1-Superfast2 gearbox, which reduced shift times to just 60 milliseconds, and the first road-car application of Ferrari's E-Diff and F1-Trac traction control systems. Extensive use of carbon fibre and the removal of sound deadening resulted in a 100kg weight saving over the standard F430. Renowned for its razor-sharp throttle response and screaming flat-plane crank V8, it is widely considered one of the greatest driver's cars of the modern era.
