About the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale
The MC Stradale was the most extreme iteration of the first-generation GranTurismo, developed to bridge the gap between the road-going S model and the Trofeo race cars. Launched in 2011 as a strictly two-seater, it shed 110kg through the removal of rear seats and the addition of carbon-fibre bucket seats and carbon-ceramic brakes. The Ferrari-built 4.7-litre V8 was tuned for 450hp, paired with a lightning-fast 'MC Race Shift' transaxle that could swap cogs in just 60 milliseconds. It remains highly coveted for its aggressive aero, focused chassis, and one of the most evocative exhaust notes of the 21st century.
