About the Lancia Hyena Zagato
The Lancia Hyena Zagato is a coachbuilt masterpiece born from the vision of Dutch importer Paul Koot and the pen of Zagato's Marco Pedracini. Based on the legendary Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione, it features a hand-formed aluminium body and an interior extensively finished in exposed carbon fibre—a revolutionary choice for the early 1990s. Because Fiat refused to supply bare chassis, each car was built by stripping a brand-new donor Integrale, leading to a prohibitive price tag that limited production to just 24 units. It offers a sharper, lighter, and more rigid driving experience than the hatchback that sired it, combining Group A rally pedigree with avant-garde Italian design.

Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
Lancia Hyena Zagato fun facts
- The Hyena was roughly 200kg lighter than the Delta Integrale Evo 1 donor car, thanks to its aluminium skin and carbon fibre interior components.
- Because Lancia would not officially support the project, Paul Koot had to purchase fully-built Integrales at retail price to use as donor vehicles.
- The car's headlights and certain interior switches were borrowed from the Alfa Romeo SZ, another famous Zagato design of the era.
