About the Lamborghini Jarama

Introduced at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show, the Jarama was the final evolution of Lamborghini's front-engined V12 grand tourers. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, its angular 'origami' styling was built on a shortened version of the Espada chassis to meet new US safety regulations. While often overshadowed by the Miura, Ferruccio Lamborghini famously cited the Jarama as his favourite model for its perfect balance between supercar performance and GT practicality. It features unique 'eyelid' headlamp covers that retract downwards and a luxurious 2+2 cabin that remains one of the most distinctive of the era.

Lamborghini Jarama rarity in CarSpot

The Lamborghini Jarama is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.

Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works

Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.

Lamborghini Jarama fun facts

  • The car was named after the Jarama river region in Spain, famous for breeding fighting bulls, rather than the Jarama motor racing circuit.
  • The Jarama 400 GT uses the same magnesium alloy centre-lock wheels found on the legendary Lamborghini Miura.
  • The radio is mounted in a highly unusual position: vertically in the centre console, facing upwards between the front seats.
