About the Ferrari 365 GTC/4
Introduced at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show, the 365 GTC/4 was designed by Pininfarina's Filippo Sapino as a more practical, refined alternative to the 365 GTB/4 Daytona. It shared the Daytona's 4.4-litre Colombo V12 but utilised side-draught Weber carburettors to allow for a lower bonnet line and a wet-sump lubrication system. The 2+2 seating, power steering, and self-levelling rear suspension made it a superior long-distance cruiser compared to its more aggressive stablemate. Despite its short 18-month production run, it is celebrated for its distinctive wedge profile and what many consider to be the finest exhaust note of any road-going Ferrari V12.
